Punch Needle

The aim with this project was to make something that reflected me both as a creative practitioner and as an individual. Nearly everyone on my mother's side of the family including her sew for a living, however sewing is something that has never come naturally to me. Punch needle felt like a mix of embroidery and illustration and was a technique I had wanted to try for some time, therefore I challenged myself to learn a new technique by making a punch needle wall hanging.
